CQC Registered Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manage CQC regulated activity ‘personal care’ for both children and adults
  • To ensure that agreed quality assurances initiatives are implemented and monitored
  • Liaise with social care regulators and local authorities to ensure satisfactory standards are maintained
  • To provide improvement, independence and choice for Service Users, making sure they are treated with dignity at all times.
  • To comply with all regulatory requirements at all times and in particular the Regulations for the Registration and Inspection of Domiciliary Care
  • To ensure policy and procedures are implemented and understood by all the staff to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • To ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards
  • To oversee and audit recruitment of carers, induction and training
  • Work closely with the HR Department to ensure robust recruitment process

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience of managing regulated activity of ‘personal care’
  • Experience of working in a care home environment
  • Knowledge and experience of managing safeguarding processes with both adults and children’s cases

  • Part time (30 hours a week)
  • This is a remote position and candidates can be based anywhere in England.
