Caroline Sturdy is an Occupational Therapist and Catastrophic Case Manager with over twenty years of clinical experience, specialising in the rehabilitation of adults with complex injury and long-term conditions. Caroline has extensive expertise across orthopaedic trauma, amputations, musculoskeletal injury, brain injury and psychological trauma, alongside conditions requiring plastic surgery and long-term medical management. She is highly experienced in designing and implementing rehabilitation packages that address both immediate recovery and long-term independence, ensuring safe, sustainable outcomes for clients.

Caroline has significant experience working with individuals presenting with severe physical disability, multiple injuries and cognitive or psychological overlay. Her work is rooted in detailed functional assessment and the practical delivery of rehabilitation and care, including specialist equipment prescription, manual handling risk management and environmental and housing adaptations, including rehousing recommendations. She is particularly experienced in supporting individuals following serious musculoskeletal trauma and amputation, including those with associated chronic pain and psychological factors.

Her career includes senior roles across inpatient rehabilitation, community services and local authority settings, where she has led on discharge planning, coordinated multidisciplinary teams and contributed to service development.
