Biography Michelle Slack is a Catastrophic Case Manager and Physiotherapist with over twenty years of clinical experience, specialising in neurological rehabilitation and complex injury. Her practice is centred on coordinating structured, outcome-focused rehabilitation pathways for adults with catastrophic and life-changing conditions. Michelle has extensive expertise supporting individuals with acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, stroke, spinal cord injury and functional neurological disorder, alongside complex orthopaedic trauma, learning disabilities and long-term conditions. She is highly skilled in conducting detailed assessments and developing robust, goal-driven rehabilitation plans that prioritise independence, safety and quality of life. Her clinical background includes senior leadership roles within the NHS, where she spent over a decade as a Specialist Team Lead Physiotherapist managing services for individuals with complex neurological and developmental needs. Alongside this, she practised as a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist, delivering advanced rehabilitation and managing the physical, cognitive and behavioural challenges associated with complex injury and disability.
