Lisa McInerney is an Occupational Therapist and Catastrophic Case Manager with over twenty-six years of clinical experience specialising in neurological rehabilitation, complex disability and community-based care. Her practice is centred on the management of adults with catastrophic injury, delivering structured, evidence-based rehabilitation and coordinated care pathways across complex clinical and social systems.

Lisa has extensive expertise supporting individuals with acquired and traumatic brain injury, long-term neurological conditions and complex orthopaedic presentations. She is highly experienced in managing cases involving cognitive impairment, behavioural challenges and co-existing mental health conditions, ensuring rehabilitation plans address the full clinical and functional impact of injury.

Her approach is grounded in detailed functional assessment and multidisciplinary coordination. She has led multidisciplinary teams, overseen clinical governance, managed complex caseloads and implemented service improvements aligned with NICE guidance and commissioning requirements.

Her earlier case management experience within a specialist disability service provides a strong foundation in coordinating care across health and social care systems, including funding negotiation, placement management and advising on rehabilitation pathways. This combination of clinical depth, operational leadership and case management expertise enables her to deliver clear, structured and outcome-focused rehabilitation for complex adult cases.
