Biography Chrizanne van der Merwe is an Expert Witness Occupational Therapist specialising in hand therapy, upper limb rehabilitation and complex musculoskeletal conditions across both adult and paediatric practice. With ten years of clinical experience, she has extensive expertise in the assessment and rehabilitation of fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, amputations, burns, osteoarthritis, repetitive strain injuries and complex pain conditions affecting the upper limb. Her experience spans acute hospital and outpatient services, providing specialist rehabilitation following trauma, surgery and long-term musculoskeletal conditions. Within paediatric and adolescent practice, Chrizanne accepts instructions specifically within her upper limb expertise.
