Rowan Varley-Doran is an Occupational Therapist and Catastrophic Case Manager with over a decade of specialist case management experience and a broad clinical background spanning community neurorehabilitation, inpatient neurological services, trauma, orthopaedics and elderly medicine. Her practice is centred on delivering structured, evidence-based rehabilitation for adults with catastrophic and life-changing injuries.

Rowan has extensive expertise in acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex orthopaedic trauma and polytrauma, alongside progressive neurological conditions including stroke, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. She is highly experienced in supporting individuals with co-existing cognitive, behavioural and psychological needs, including anxiety, depression, dementia, ADHD, autism and personality disorders, ensuring rehabilitation programmes address the full impact of injury on everyday life.

She is experienced in undertaking Initial Needs Assessments, coordinating complex rehabilitation packages and managing rehabilitation budgets within medico-legal frameworks.

Trained in Functional Capacity Evaluation, Rowan works collaboratively with employers and occupational health professionals to develop graduated return-to-work programmes, workplace adaptations and ergonomic solutions that enable clients to achieve sustainable employment following catastrophic injury.
