Lewis Wilson is a Physiotherapist and Expert Witness with over fourteen years of clinical experience, specialising in complex musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. Lewis brings extensive experience across NHS outpatient departments, community MSK services, advanced practitioner roles and private practice, enabling a comprehensive understanding of patient pathways from initial presentation through to specialist intervention. His clinical expertise includes lower limb injuries, ligament and meniscal pathology, upper limb conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, and complex spinal conditions including severe stenosis and cauda equina presentations requiring surgical consideration.

As an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist, Lewis manages complex caseloads autonomously, delivering high-level clinical reasoning and evidence-based decision-making. He has significant experience in the assessment and management of chronic pain conditions, including fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain and persistent functional limitation, often in the context of psychological factors such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress. This provides a strong foundation for delivering balanced, clinically grounded opinions in complex and multi-factorial cases.

Lewis has held senior roles requiring autonomous clinical decision-making and service development, and has contributed to audit, governance and clinical education within musculoskeletal services. His practice is underpinned by ongoing CPD, advanced training in imaging interpretation and injection therapy, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical reasoning.

Fully trained in the Civil Procedure Rules, Lewis provides independent expert evidence across both claimant and defendant instructions. His reports are objective, detailed and focused on delivering clear, reasoned opinions to assist the Court in determining matters of diagnosis, causation, prognosis and functional impact in musculoskeletal and spinal injury cases.
